Should I keep the original paperwork for the HMRC?
To comply with HMRC’s directive, once an invoice or receipt has been entered into Dext, it no longer needs to be kept. You can still access your data even if you stop using Dext later because it acts as a data vault.
What is the best plan to go with for my company?
Dext has a three-tiered pricing structure to meet the needs of different businesses: Business, Business Plus, and Premium Dext. They are distinguished by their features, usage limits, and pricing. The most expensive plans are geared toward larger businesses with a lot of data and multiple people needing access. What is the mobile process when using the app?
You can download the Dext app once you have an account. The app allows you to take a picture of your receipt and upload it to the app, where it is securely stored – allowing you to throw paper away!
Using new optical recognition technology, and can extract the information needed from the receipt.
You can then publish the data to your accounting software or download it to your computer. Cloud accounting software then receives data and a digital image of a receipt.
Need to download or install anything on your laptop?
You don’t need to download anything because it can be accessed through a browser or the Dext App, you can easily send and receive invoices from your mobile device.
